CEREMONY

CEREMONY
A tea ceremony in a wooden structure in a garden with a lotus pond, surrounded by dark coniferous woods. Beyond that, the sea.
CEREMONY is a diffusive accord of bitter orange, fresh fruits, reishi mushroom, green tea, blue lotus, conferous woods, oud and brilliant white musks. This is another one that has been in the works for years and had proven almost impossible to execute properly. Possibly ‘inconceivable dharmas’ was a bit ambitious as a fragrance concept, especially one intended to last well on skin - but after a lot of work this does perform well and smells great doing it. It’s also, as far as we know, wildly original in terms of the way it smells and performs: it has subtle power and huge diffusion but also doesn’t seem to cause anosmia. Otherworldly.
Samples are available in the Discovery Stash, see main fragrance page.
Minty coniferous, fruity, mouth watering, floral, lush but light, the oud & reishi blended enhance the garden atmosphere, the green tea and lotus contributing to the exotic meditative tea vibe. Just calming and beautiful. The scent of the sample setting on my nightstand has me reaching for this on repeat. This might become the first sample I completely drain in less than a week.
I love this one and I quickly made my move to scoop a 50 ml bottle. I personally don't recall ever smelling anything like it and am making this part of my wardrobe.
